1. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to information processed in connection with the Radius Delivery Shopify app, our website and merchant support. Shopify operates its own platform and processes information under its own privacy terms. Merchants remain responsible for their own privacy notices and for complying with privacy laws that apply to their stores and customers.
2. Information we process
Radius Delivery is designed to use only the information needed to configure and operate local delivery areas. Depending on the features used, we may process:
- Shopify store identifiers and information needed to associate an installation with a store;
- app sessions and Shopify access tokens required to connect the App to the merchant’s Shopify store;
- Shopify Locations selected or enabled by the merchant;
- custom delivery origins created inside Radius Delivery;
- coordinates, delivery radii and the selected distance unit;
- Polygon Zones, Include Areas and Exclusion Zones;
- specific address or place exceptions configured by the merchant;
- Local Pickup configuration used by the App;
- geocoding usage counters used to manage service usage and limits;
- aggregated technical metrics and operational information needed to maintain, secure and troubleshoot the service;
- information you voluntarily provide when contacting us for support.
3. Information we do not store as customer history
Radius Delivery does not currently maintain database models for Shopify orders, customer profiles or customer delivery-address history. An address entered into the App’s testing tools is not stored as a customer address history.
Where an address needs to be checked or geocoded to determine delivery eligibility, it may be processed transiently for that purpose. We do not use such an address to build a customer profile or delivery-history database.
4. Why we process information
We process information to:
- install, authenticate and operate Radius Delivery for a Shopify store;
- save and apply delivery zones, radii, locations, custom origins and delivery exceptions;
- provide Local Pickup and other features selected by the merchant;
- geocode locations or addresses where required by an App feature;
- measure service usage, enforce technical limits and prevent abuse;
- maintain security, diagnose errors and improve reliability;
- respond to merchant support requests;
- comply with legal obligations and valid privacy requests.
5. Legal bases under the GDPR
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract or steps requested before entering into a contract; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving Radius Delivery; compliance with legal obligations; and consent where consent is required for a particular optional activity.
6. Shopify access and permissions
Radius Delivery connects to Shopify through Shopify’s APIs. Access tokens and session information are treated as confidential credentials and are used only to provide the App’s functionality. We request and use Shopify permissions only as needed for the features offered by Radius Delivery.
We also support Shopify’s required privacy processes and will respond to valid data requests or deletion instructions received through Shopify in accordance with applicable law and Shopify platform requirements.
7. Service providers and subprocessors
We may use carefully selected service providers to host and operate the App, store backups, provide databases, geocoding or mapping functions, deliver email, and perform technical monitoring or error logging. These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are subject to contractual and security obligations appropriate to their role.
If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we use a lawful transfer mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Retention, backups and uninstalling the App
We retain App configuration and installation data for as long as necessary to provide Radius Delivery to the merchant, maintain security, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.
When the App is uninstalled, store-specific data that is no longer required is deleted or anonymized in accordance with Shopify privacy requirements and applicable law. Limited copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups are rotated or deleted. Backup data is not used for ordinary business purposes.
9. Website data and cookies
Our hosting infrastructure may process standard technical request information, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and requested URLs, for security and reliable delivery of the website. Essential cookies may be used where technically necessary. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, we will provide any notices or consent controls required by applicable law.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. This includes protecting access credentials and tokens, limiting access to operational data, maintaining backups, and applying appropriate security controls to the infrastructure used by Radius Delivery.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority. In Poland, the supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych — UODO).
12. Merchant and customer requests
If you are a customer of a Shopify merchant using Radius Delivery and your request concerns information controlled by that merchant, please contact the merchant first. We will assist merchants with valid privacy requests where our systems are involved.
13. Children’s privacy
Radius Delivery is a business application intended for Shopify merchants and is not directed to children.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our App, legal requirements or data practices change. The current version will be published at radiusdelivery.app/privacy-policy/ with the date of the latest update.
15. Contact
